About Us

Our organisation is a recently established organisation look to make an immediate impact within the building industry. It is based in the Western Sydney area servicing all of Sydney specialising in commercial construction, commercial fit outs, commercial make-goods and custom builds. Although being a recently established organisation, its owner/director has 15 years’ experience owning a construction company and over 20 years’ experience within the building industry.

The Role

We are looking for a qualified carpenter to join our team on a fulltime basis. The role is predominately Monday to Friday; however, optional overtime and Saturdays are available and are a company requirement from time to time pending on workload. This role requires day to day travel to various building sites. We require someone who has a hands-on attitude and is ready to take charge to ensure the job gets completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate has practical experience in all aspects of carpentry, can work within a team and independently and can ensure requirements of the projects are meet. Job Responsibilities

  • Interpreting floor plans
  • Planning out
  • Framework, decking, roofing, and final finishing detail required.
  • Complete work as directed by the project manager.
  • Liaise with office staff, managers, and external clients with the utmost importance of respect and confidentiality where required.
  • Weekly stock/tool auditing + material ordering if needed along with picking up materials after working hours if required.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Minimum Certificate III in carpentry and least 5 years’ experience on work sites, post trade.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work within timelines to provide high quality standards and job completion the first time.
  • Manual drivers’ licence.
  • Have your own tools and vehicle.
  • White card.
  • Professional presentation when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additional tickets and credentials are appreciated.
